TRAIL RUNNING: Out the Green Box Nite Series #1 at Café du Jardin from 6.30pm. Family fun welcome at this beautiful night run. Single track consisting of river crossing, single track and beautiful bamboo forests is what is in store for all our runners. RUNNING: Ashmel Superspar Rhino Run 5km & 10km from 8am starting at Ashmel Spar. Come and join us to support the survival of our rhinos. 100% of the proceeds will go to Paws, which is then donated to the Save the Rhino Foundation! The Best Kids Day Out Ever at Princes Lodge from 12noon. We are celebrating kids just being kids, and have put together an awesome afternoon filled to the brim with entertainment & fantasy! Entry fee includes photos in our fantasy photo booth, a music concert by the students of Legends School of Music, a book reading by local children’s author Dick Latimer, storytelling sessions by The Puppet Lady, and a kids show by Rob van Vuuren & Dani Bischoff. We invite kids to come dressed up - there will be prizes! All this fun can't happen without having a big heart and giving back, we have connected with CHOC at the Paediatric Children’s Ward at Frere Hospital to collect your new or used books & DVDs. We also have a platform for young artists with our art competition. Please support our young entrepreneurs corner where they will be using our event to build on their skills. And last but not least we will have a fabulous selection of baby & kids products in our expo area, as well as eats n treats to keep you going!

National Arts Festival in Grahamstown
MATRICS JULY Creative Portfolio Development Workshop at Hartspace. Workshop will take place from 17 July – 21 July 2017. Consultations will take place on the last day of school 30 June, from 10am. Bookings close 23 June 2017. This unique, week long program has been designed to give prospective undergraduate students the opportunity to compile well edited, dynamic, strong portfolios - demonstrating both technical and creative ability, whilst exploring new territory and building confidence in their skills as a visual communicator. The workshop provides a great opportunity to work under the guidance of a CIE accredited assessor and moderator, with over 17 years teaching and assessment experience. In addition to the workshop, continuous online assessments are available for the duration of the application/portfolio process.

German Shepherd Dog Federation of SAs IPO Nationals 2017 from 8am. The event will see German Shepherd Dogs, from all areas of South Africa, competing to be SA’s next IPO Champion. This event culminates in the selection of a team to represent South Africa at the World Championships that will take place in Holland in October 2017. Obedience and Protection work will be at Grens High School in Baysville; the venue for the tracking component is about 80km out of town in the Stutterheim region. For this 2017 event we will be bringing an International Judge and Protection work Helper from Germany and Holland.

|LET’S HIKE EAST LONDON||Every Saturday morning at 6am (weather permitting). LAVENDER BLUE PINEAPPLE WALK (± 10km). Meet Yvonne in the Lavender Blue parking lot every Saturday morning at 6am for a lovely walk and enjoy breakfast afterwards. You will be taken on a 10km circular walk past farms and along farm roads. Take the usual goodies with and some money for a hearty breakfast afterwards. The walk is about 2 hours and a bit.|

|RUNNING||ELAC (East London Athletic Club) French Street, Cambridge has a 5km time-trial every Thursday. Start a little up Elizabeth Road and finish opposite the club house. Starting times: 5.15pm walkers and 5.30pm runners. Everyone is welcome no matter what level of fitness you are. You need not be a member of our club. Just come and join us.
